Sounds of Summer

Some of my favorite sounds during the summer evenings are the Cicada Bugs, Frogs and Crickets. You know, those sounds you hear when there aren't cars on the roads or any "daytime" noises. We have our doors open this evening to the screened porch because it is cool out tonight (and it's August...go figure). So as I sit here checking my emails the rythm from those sounds are almost hynotic. Sometimes we all need to take a moment to be still and listen. Summer can be a time for that...maybe that is why I call these "sounds of summer". I think I am going to jump in the hammock for awhile.
